Design of Experiments (DOE) Training - Taguchi Methods
Taguchi Method for design of experiments provides a step-by-step approach to producing designs and processes that are robust; that is, less sensitive to wide ranges of environmental factors and external variables.
A Design of Experiment consists of intentionally changing the inputs to a process in order to observe the corresponding changes in the outputs. Thus, a design of experiment is a scientific approach which allows the researcher to better understand a process and to determine how the inputs affect the results or outputs.
Who should attend this seminar?
It is particularly well suited for product designers and engineers. Manufacturing engineers, quality engineers, and other production persons will find it very useful as well. Managers of these functions will benefit greatly. This is a 16 hour seminar for a maximum of 24 participants. All course material and certificates of completion are provided.
Benefits:
When product and service designs or process improvements are carefully planned and results verified, the payoff can be:
|
Surpassed customer expectations | |
|
Higher performance | |
|
